Last week Lijun Yao (an HSG student) became a PhD. We sincerely congratulate her and happy to see what she is going to achieve next!

Lab holiday party in escape the room

Yesterday Ding lab had a fun Holiday celebration. We visited Escape the Room St. Louis and had a blast trying to get out of tiny rooms! We will definitely be back! Sweet memories :)

Lab happy hour and Clara visited us

Last Friday we had lab happy hour to celebrate some birthdays and reunite with Clara - a former Lab Technician who now has almost finished her medical school and now applying for residency.

single cell PDAC paper is out in Nature Genetics

Welcome our new open access Nature Genetics paper. Dr. Cui Zhou, Dr. Jayasinghe, Dr. Chen and others analyzed spatial heterogeneity of driver events in PDAC, traced transitional cell populations and identified microenvironment cooperation in untreated and chemo-resistant pancreatic cancer. Talented artist Jessica Johnson created a stunning candidate cover image. Too bad it was not selected! WashU news also talked about this high impact paper.
