WashU SenNet team had a blast at the first face to face SenNet meeting in Rockville near Washington, DC. Alla presented our center’s update and everybody learned a great deal about the science behind senescent cells.
We were invited to publish a research briefing summarizing the important findings from our recent publication in Nature Genetics (Cui Zhou, D., Jayasinghe, R.G., Chen, S. et al., Nat Genet (2022)). This summary facilitates the communication of our findings to a broader scientific community. Thanks to Nature Genetics for this opportunity!
Welcome our new open access Nature Genetics paper. Dr. Cui Zhou, Dr. Jayasinghe, Dr. Chen and others analyzed spatial heterogeneity of driver events in PDAC, traced transitional cell populations and identified microenvironment cooperation in untreated and chemo-resistant pancreatic cancer. Talented artist Jessica Johnson created a stunning candidate cover image. Too bad it was not selected! WashU news also talked about this high impact paper.
I’m very excited to actually do all the analyses proposed.
